Soccer Game Preview: Gahr vs. Paramount

Gahr is 1-9 against Paramount since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Gladiators will head out to face off against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gahr will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Lynwood, who they had gone 0-8-1 against in their nine prior meetings. The Gladiators walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Knights on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Gahr as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Paramount was able to grind out a solid victory over Warren on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. Given Paramount's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 54th, while Warren are ranked 265th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gahr's record is now 6-7-2. As for Paramount, their record now sits at 13-4.
