Baseball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was the 14-9 winner over Harrisonville when they last played one another on May 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday.

Odessa's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Harrisonville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record this season.

Odessa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrisonville, they have already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against Pleasant Hill on the 22nd.
