Conroe entered their tilt with Oak Ridge on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the War Eagles with a sharp 15-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Conroe pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Oak Ridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.

Coincidentally, Conroe and Oak Ridge will both be playing Grand Oaks the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Grizzlies at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the War Eagles will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
