It was a good run, but Park Place Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to the Pisgah Dragons on the road by a 61-42 margin.

Pisgah found their leader in sophomore Luke Sanders, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 17 boards. The matchup was Sanders' third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Zane Smith, who posted 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Park Place Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Pisgah, their win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Park Place Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 43-40 victory against Canton Academy on the 24th. As for Pisgah, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pelahatchie at 7:30 p.m. on December 4.
