Basketball Recap: Wallowa Sets Scoring Season-High Against Pine Eagle

Wallowa scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Pine Eagle Spartans. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Wallowa's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Pine Eagle, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Powder Valley the next time they take the court. Wallowa will host Powder Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Pine Eagle will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
