Volleyball Recap: Cranston East Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cranston East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Prout Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Cranston East was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.

Cranston East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Prout, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cranston East is set to challenge their familiar foe Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Prout will take on rival Cranston West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
