Montabella took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 72-59 victory over the Coleman Comets. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coleman's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Glazier, who shot 53% from the field en route to 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Glazier's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Keegan Martin was another key player, going 6-for-10 to rack up 17 points.

Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Montabella is taking a road trip to face off against Ithaca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coleman, they will welcome Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
