Richmond Hill entered their tilt with Lee County on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Trojans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Richmond Hill got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 24-26, 15-8.

Richmond Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylee Gilbert out in front who had six digs and four assists. Those four assists gave Gilbert a new career-high.

Richmond Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee County only served six aces.

Richmond Hill's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lee County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Richmond Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Mount Pisgah Christian on the 16th. As for Lee County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Alpharetta on the 16th.
