Cass's game on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past the Dalton Catamounts 48-16. Considering the Colonels have won five matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dalton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caine Woods, who threw for 259 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 41 yards. Another player making a difference was Kamdon London, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Cass' win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.8 points over those games. As for Dalton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Cass will host Allatoona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Colonels will be up against the Buccaneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.22 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Dalton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st.
