Basketball Recap: Hermiston Comes Up Short

Hermiston lost against Richland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hermiston Bulldogs took a hard 73-57 fall against the Richland Bombers. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Hermiston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Richland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hermiston will head out on the road to take on Ridgeline at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.3 points per game this season. As for Richland, they will venture away from home to challenge Gonzaga Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gonzaga Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Richland likes a good challenge.
