Luke Maxey leads Cedaredge to victory over Nucla

Recap: Cedaredge Bruins vs. Nucla Mustangs
The Cedaredge Bruins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Nucla by a score of 74-65. The victory was just what Cedaredge needed coming off of a 63-39 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Luke Maxey, who scored 33 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Tullis, who scored 13 points.
Cedaredge's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Nucla, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
Cedaredge will look to defend their home court on Friday against Roaring Fork at 7:00 p.m. As for Nucla, they will head out on the road to face off against Dove Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Dove Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 back in December of 2023.
