Basketball Recap: Sullivan's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Sullivan lost against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Redskins fell 60-54 to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg. The loss put an end to the Redskins' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Sullivan still got an impressive performance from Tegan McRill, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mitchell Hooten, who posted ten points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sullivan fell to 2-1. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sullivan will host Meridian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, they will take on Dieterich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
