Football Game Preview: Chattanooga Christian Chargers vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish + How To Watch

The Chattanooga Christian Chargers will venture away from home to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Chattanooga Christian has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Notre Dame will arrive with three straight victories.

On Friday, Chattanooga Christian came up short against Christian Academy of Knoxville and fell 21-14. While the Chargers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Warriors 7-0.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame beat Webb 50-40 on Friday.

Notre Dame's win came from a few key players Chattanooga Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cooper Campbell, who threw for 349 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Those 349 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Jacorrion Tramble was Campbell's top target, picking up 73 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in a pair of TDs on the ground.

Notre Dame now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chattanooga Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
