Pinecrest scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Richmond, 21-7. At the time, the Raiders were ranked 11th in the state, while the Patriots were 53rd.

Scotland added to the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 16 this week by beating Lumberton, 42-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Fighting Scots.

6-foot-0 quarterback Thriston Lowry of Purnell Swett is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,263. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Raheem Bowden. The Richmond star has 25 catches for 569 yards.

The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Scotland and Richmond. Richard Bailey's team enters the contest ranked third in the state, while Paul Hoggard's team ranks 14th.

The Raiders' offense has racked up 430 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Fighting Scots have allowed only 160 on the year.

The league will see a high scoring game when Scotland and Richmond face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Fighting Scots comes in having scored 292 this season, while the Raiders have scored 430. Scotland scored 42 points last week as it defeated the Pirates.

The Fighting Scots took down Lumberton 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
