Football Recap: Mountain Pine Takes a Loss

If Mountain Pine was riding high fresh off their 36-13 takedown of Westside last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Devils took a 44-30 bruising from the Bigelow Panthers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 19-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mountain Pine dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bigelow, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain Pine will face off against rival Conway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bigelow is set to take on their familiar foe Mountainburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
