Basketball Game Preview: Amboy Clippers vs. Kewanee Boilermakers

The Amboy Clippers are taking a road trip to take on the Kewanee Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amboy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

On Saturday, Amboy made easy work of Pearl City and carried off a 44-19 victory. The Clippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Kewanee beat Oregon 49-38 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Boilermakers.

Amboy pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Kewanee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Amboy took their victory against Kewanee in their previous meeting back in November of 2018 by a conclusive 54-31. Does Amboy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kewanee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
