Softball Recap: Glenn Comes Up Short

Glenn's last matchup with Liberty Hill could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Glenn Grizzlies came up short against the Liberty Hill Panthers, falling 15-9. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Fuego Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Deanna Dailey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Liberty Hill, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2-1.

Coming up, Glenn will square off against Hays at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty Hill, they will face off against Lehman at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
