Volleyball Recap: Chardon Starts Season with Loss at Home

Chardon unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Berkshire Badgers on Tuesday. Hilltoppers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Badgers since on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 19-25, 25-15.

Berkshire is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Chardon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Mayfield on the 4th. As for Berkshire, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Villa Angela-St. Joseph on the 3rd.
