Basketball Game Preview: Lake Worth Bullfrogs vs. Eagle Mountain Knights

The Lake Worth Bullfrogs will head out to square off against the Eagle Mountain Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

Lake Worth came up short against Decatur on Friday, falling 84-59. While losing is never fun, the Bullfrogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 924th, while the Eagles are ranked 197th).

Meanwhile, Eagle Mountain came up short against Burkburnett on Friday and fell 69-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Lake Worth's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Eagle Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.

Lake Worth might still be hurting after the 69-49 loss they got from Eagle Mountain in their previous meeting back in January. Can Lake Worth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
