Covington came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers by a score of  3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 The  win didn't come easy: Lehman Catholic scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 23-25,  29-27.
 Dakohta Kenworthy paced Covington's offense, picking up 14 kills. Kenworthy got some help from  Addison Ventura and her 27 assists. Finally,  Ava Hartwig kept Covington's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Covington's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Lehman Catholic, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record  this season.
 Covington will head out on the road to  take on  Bradford  at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Lehman Catholic, they will be playing at home against Troy Christian  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
