Amherst County is 9-1 against Brookville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lancers will welcome the Bees at 7:30 p.m. Amherst County will be strutting in after a victory while Brookville will be coming in after a loss.

Amherst County is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Heritage on Tuesday as they made off with a 23-3 win. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Brookville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Jefferson Forest, falling 9-1.

Brookville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Brown, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Amherst County's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Brookville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Amherst County skirted past Brookville 1-0 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Bees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
