Basketball Recap: Cascade Drops Season-High Score on Anamosa

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cascade). They blew past the Anamosa Raiders 66-38 on Tuesday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 23 points or more this season.

Cascade pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Anamosa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will venture away from home to take on Bellevue at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cascade has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Anamosa, they will face off against Tipton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
