Alejandro Preciado posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Colton back in April, so they probably should've seen this coming. Preciado has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Preciado's effort led Jurupa Hills over Colton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
