Recap: Normangee Panthers vs. Lovelady Lions
The Normangee Panthers lost to the Lovelady Lions back in December of 2022, but the Normangee Panthers didn't allow the Lovelady Lions the same satisfaction on Friday. Normangee came out on top against Lovelady by a score of 53-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Normangee.
Normangee's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pj Edwards led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Edwards set a new season high mark in assists with six. Dallas Jones was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Normangee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Lovelady, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-2.
Normangee will square off against North Zulch at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. North Zulch is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. Lovelady will be home for the holidays to greet Cushing at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
