Preview: Rickards Raiders vs. Columbia Tigers
The Rickards Raiders are on the road again on Thursday and plays the Columbia Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Hopefully Rickards is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Florida (they are ranked 58th, while Columbia is ranked 209th).
Rickards extended their postseason success on Saturday against Columbia. They enjoyed a cozy 49-33 win over the Tigers.
It was another big night for Randall Pompey, who scored 15 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Romie Cosby was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Rickards is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
Rickards strolled past Columbia in their previous matchup on Saturday by a score of 49-33. Does Rickards have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
