Pine Crest waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Boca Raton Christian Blazers a 16-0 shutout. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blazers, too.

Gabby Luong was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Oceanna Baker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Pine Crest always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pine Crest's record is now 8-2. As for Boca Raton Christian, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Pine Crest will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blazers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
