Soda Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 16-12 to the Wendell Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-4 two weeks ago.

Hadley Downs made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those hits were her first of the season. Aspen Davis was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Soda Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wendell, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Coming up, Soda Springs will square off against Wilder at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Wendell, they will take on North Fremont at 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
