Soccer Game Preview: Huntley vs. Zion-Benton

The Huntley Red Raiders will face off against the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Huntley's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Zion-Benton has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Huntley's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Hampshire. Considering Huntley have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Hampshire from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Zion-Benton rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Huskies. Zion-Benton's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last seven games.

Zion-Benton's victory bumped their record up to 6-13-1. As for Huntley, their win bumped their record up to 13-3-2.
