Football Recap: Stevenson Falls Short Against Ranked Carmel + How To Watch

Stevenson faced Carmel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots lost to the Corsairs at home by a 15-0 margin. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Even if they lost, Stevenson's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Valentina Shamuel was especially locked on to Carmel's QB and sacked her three times. Shamuel is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stevenson fell to 5-1. As for Carmel, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
