Softball Recap: Dudley Comes Up Short

Dudley fell victim to Ragsdale and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Ragsdale Tigers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dudley has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Ragsdale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dudley will head out to square off against Southern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ragsdale, they will face off against Southwest Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Guilford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.7 runs per game this season.
