Preview: Charles Page Sandites vs. Putnam City Pirates
Charles Page has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Putnam City Pirates at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Charles Page was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-58 to Enid.
The losing side was boosted by Deke Thompson, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Evans, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Putnam City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 64-60 to Lawton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Putnam City in their matchups with Lawton: they've now lost four in a row.
The losses dropped Charles Page to 0-3 and Enid to 1-1.
