Basketball Recap: Bound Brook Takes a Loss

Bound Brook was the 68-57 winner over American History when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bound Brook Crusaders took a 63-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the American History Eagles.

American History's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ah'Zeah Woodard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten assists. Woodard has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ah'Mad Woodard, who posted 20 points and six steals.

Bound Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for American History, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bound Brook won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American History, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Kearny at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
