Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ben Lomond). They put the hurt on the South Summit Wildcats with a sharp 9-1 win on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-1.

The victory got Ben Lomond back to even at 3-3. As for South Summit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben Lomond will square off against Ogden at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ogden will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Ben Lomond surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Summit, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wendover at 4:00 p.m. on April 7. South Summit is facing Wendover at the right time seeing as Wendover is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
