A well-balanced attack led MacArthur over Nimitz in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Cardinals blew the Vikings out of the water with a 58-13 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cardinals had established a 42-point advantage.

When it comes to explaining why Nimitz lost, don't look at Jevon Woolfolk. Despite the final result, he rushed for 135 yards and one TD while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Woolfolk is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 102 every time he's taken the field this season. Jaylin Harris helped out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards.

MacArthur's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Nimitz, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, MacArthur will venture away from home to face off against Lake Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Nimitz, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Berkner at 7:00 p.m.
