Soccer Game Preview: Ashe County vs. Newton-Conover

The Ashe County Huskies will head out to square off against the Newton-Conover Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ashe County comes in on 22 and Newton-Conover on seven.

Ashe County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Brevard get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Ashe County's winning goal came courtesy of Carson Franca.

Meanwhile, Newton-Conover made easy work of Lincoln Charter on Thursday and carried off a 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Newton-Conover, who have now won 16 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 25-2. As for Newton-Conover, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1-3.
