On Friday, Valley faced Waukee in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Valley Tigers walked away with a 73-61 win over the Waukee Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Valley pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Waukee, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
