Volleyball Recap: Roanoke Rapids Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Roanoke Rapids came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Bunn Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.

Roanoke Rapids' offense was headlined by Matti Cutchin and Zoey Thomas, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Emilee Campbell and her 11 assists. Finally, Cutchin was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Roanoke Rapids has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Bunn, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Roanoke Rapids will take on Clinton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bunn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
