Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cumberland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Neoga on Thursday as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.
Cumberland is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland], their record is now 3-9.
Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Cumberland in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
