Basketball Recap: Russellville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Phil Campbell last Friday, Russellville came back down to earth. The Russellville Golden Tigers came up short against the Florence Falcons on Friday, falling 73-53. The Golden Tigers have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Florence, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Russellville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mars Hill Bible at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Florence, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Randolph School at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
