Basketball Recap: Tabiona Tigers vs. Rich Rebels

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryson Fabrizio, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points. Fabrizio has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gavin Rhoades, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Rich was led to victory by Carter Scott and Ridge Lundgren. Scott shot 6-for-9 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards, while Lundgren went 10 of 20 en route to 26 points. Those 26 points gave Lundgren a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Weston, who posted nine points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists.

Tabiona wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-42 win against Wendover on the 18th. Rich has also already played their next contest, a 75-48 victory against Altamont on the 18th.
