Football Game Preview: Arlington Catholic vs. Mystic Valley Regional

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Mystic Valley Regional will square off against Arlington Catholic at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Things haven't been easy for Mystic Valley Regional, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were dealt a punishing 2-38 loss at the hands of Greater Lowell Tech.

Meanwhile, Arlington Catholic found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-29 punch to the gut against Archbishop Williams.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
