Soccer Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Greenville Hornets. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-0.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Greenville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Canton take on the Yazoo County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville, they will head out to face off against Provine at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
