Pine Grove came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Jamie Dinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 13 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lily Flynn, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chelcy Clark, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pine Grove's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Schuylkill Haven, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-6 record.

As of now, neither Pine Grove nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
