Volleyball Recap: Panguitch Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Panguitch had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Millard Eagles. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Panguitch started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-15.

Millard has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panguitch will welcome Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millard, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Piute at 6:30 p.m.
