Little Miami came tearing into Friday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They escaped with a win against the Milford Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 64-63. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Eagles are ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why Milford lost, don't look at Camron Arington. Despite the final result, he went 7 for 13 on his way to 20 points. With that strong performance, Arington is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Sloan Gormley was another key player, putting up ten points.
