Softball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

Crestview had lost four straight at home, but on Monday they dropped down to 8-7 to make it five. They lost 12-1 to the Garfield G-Men. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

As for Garfield, the victory got them back to even at 6-6. The result was nothing new for the G-Men, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Garfield's part, Madi Seiler was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Seiler a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyn Tasker, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one triple.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crestview beat Garfield by a score of 11-10 on Tuesday.
