Volleyball Recap: Wasco Takes a Loss

Wasco was the 2-0 winner over Tehachapi when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Warriors on Thursday.

Wasco came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23.

Kendall Williams was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Wasco now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Tehachapi, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wasco will challenge Wonderful College Prep Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tehachapi, they will face off against Frazier Mountain at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
