Baseball Game Preview: Fulton County Pilots vs. Gleason Bulldogs

The Fulton County Pilots will face off against the Gleason Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Fulton County nor Gleason posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Fulton County's last matchup with Hickman County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest two weeks ago. The Pilots came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Gleason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union City.

On the hitting side, Brody Sanders made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aiden Legens, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Fulton County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Gleason, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1.
