After two games on the road, Tierra Encantada is heading back home. They will take on the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Tierra Encantada came up short against Coronado and fell 51-40. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tierra Encantada in their matchups with Coronado: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, New Mexico School for the Deaf put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Phoenix Day School for the Deaf 63-26 at home. New Mexico School for the Deaf might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three contests by 36 points or more this season.

New Mexico School for the Deaf got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adrien Ercolino out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Ercolino set a new season high mark in rebounds with 13. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Todorovic, who scored 21 points.

Tierra Encantada bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Tierra Encantada ended up a good deal behind New Mexico School for the Deaf in their previous meeting on Tuesday, losing 46-31. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ercolino, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds.
