Football Recap: Speedway Comes Up Short on the Road Against Heritage Christian

Speedway had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 36-15 to the Heritage Christian Eagles on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Although Speedway took the loss, they still got scores from Nate Chapman and Mamadou Diallo.

Looking ahead, Speedway will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heritage Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
